Westover has its own private airstrip where Roger and Catherine base
their Twin Comanche. The strip is also home to a vintage Piper Cub.
Our 800 metre airstrip (650m useable) will accommodate most single and
light twin aircraft You can park your aircraft within 50 metres of your
holiday cottage. There are no landing or parking charges for guests. If you
wish to fly in to the strip, it is ESSENTIAL to read:

and to telephone us prior to departure for Westover with an ETA. The
strip is infrequently used, and we need to know when you expect to arrive,
so that all our animals can be secured.
Flying in Devon and Cornwall is sheer delight. The magnificent coastal,
rolling farmland and high moorland scenery is largely unmarred by either
restricted or controlled airspace. Add to this a variety of small airfields,
a large number of private farm strips, and of course the beautiful Scilly
Isles, and you have all the makings for a superb flying holiday.
Aircraft hire is available at Plymouth, Bodmin, Exeter and Eaglescott,
and these airfields all stock Avgas 100LL. Customs and Special Branch
clearance (24 hrs notice) for Europe and the Channel Islands can be arranged
direct to or from Westover for EU passport holders.
