Roger and Catherine Appleton welcome you to Westover
Farm.
Westover Farm is a 25 acre estate with four
properties, set in a peaceful Devon
valley, approximately half a mile from the village of Sheepwash, with shop
and The Half Moon, a friendly traditional village pub set in the village
square, serving good food 10 minutes walk away.
Many places of interest in the surrounding area include
the coastal towns of Bude, Clovelly, Bideford and Westward Ho!, for
traditional seaside activities and surfing and the coastal footpath, the
Tarka Trail for cycling, local fishing lakes, golf courses and horse riding
centres for outdoor pursuits.
Dartmoor is within 20 minutes drive, as is RHS Rosemoor
at Great Torrington. Several National Trust properties, along with a good
variety of visitor centres ideal for families or couples, such as the Big
Sheep at Bideford, Trethorne Leisure Farm at Launceston, the Miniature Pony
Centre at Moretonhampstead, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan
are within reach for a day out.
To find our approximate location, on a map trace a
horizontal line in from Bude, a vertical line down from Bideford, and where
they cross is about where we are. We send comprehensive travel directions to
guests of course, so you shouldn’t get lost!
